Accepted Insurance Programs

At the Simi Valley Family YMCA and the Yarrow Family YMCA, we accept the following insurance programs. Insurance members have the same membership benefits as our senior membership. 

This includes:

  • Access to the Fitness Floor Equipment
  • Group Exercise Classes
  • Aqua Group Exercise Classes
  • Lap and warm pool swimming
  • YMCA360 On-Demand Virtual Classes
  • Adult Enrichment Class, drop-in classes
  • Fitness Assessment

Items that are not included and will require a fee:

  • Personal Training or Small Group Training
  • Swim Lessons
  • Workshops
  • Specialty Classes
  • Events

 

Renew Active & One Pass

Renew Active™/One Pass™ is here to help you stay fit, stay focused and stay you. Plus, it is available at no additional cost with selected UnitedHealthcare® Medicare Advantage Plans. If you have questions about your eligibility, please contact UnitedHealthcare by calling the phone number on the back of your insurance card.

Silver & Fit

Silver and Fit® provides eligible members access to a YMCA membership at no-cost through certain health care plans. Silver and Fit ® is designed to help seniors stay the course to achieve a healthier life through regular exercise. To learn more or to see if you qualify please call your health care provide phone number on back of your insurance card.

HOW TO GET STARTED

1. You must contact your health insurance provider to verify eligibility.

2. Bring your fitness ID # provided by your insurance provider and a government-issued ID to the Membership Desk to sign up.

3. If you are new to our YMCA 

  • One of our staff members will run the fitness ID # to verify eligibility in our portal.
  • Once the Fitness ID # has been verified, the registration form needs to be filled out with the full name and email associated with your insurance plan.
  • Your account will be activated and you will need to sign our facility waiver, get a photo taken and staff will issue you a key tag.

4. If you are a current paying member switching to insurance membership

  • Switching to insurance requires fifteen (15) days prior to the 1st of the month to take effect.
  • No refunds will be issued after the membership is drafted on the 1st of each month.
  • One of our staff members will run the fitness ID # to verify eligibility in our portal.
  • Once Fitness ID # has been verified, a new insurance registration form needs to be filled out with the full name and email associated with your insurance plan.
  • The account will be switched on the 1st of the month; a new waiver will be signed, and an updated photo may be taken.
