MODEL UNITED NATIONS (MUN)
Model United Nations (MUN) participants will come together with peers from across California to discuss international issues, discover other cultures, develop life-enhancing skills and make new friends. These students will become “delegates” and be assigned to one of two program areas, each focusing on improving the international community.
TEEN LEADERSHIP CLUB
Become a confident leader and create positive change in your community. Open to all middle and high school students who want to develop essential leadership skills through practical experience. Throughout the session, you will collaborate with fellow teens to successfully plan, organize and execute two community service projects. Take this opportunity to make a difference in your community while building valuable leadership qualities and boosting your self-assurance. Teen Leadership Club is a no-cost program.
YOUTH & GOVERNMENT
The YMCA Youth & Government gives high school students a firsthand look at how our state's legislature and courts actually work. This program is designed to improve public speaking, writing and critical thinking. Open to all high school students.
