SAFETY AROUND WATER
Everybody deserves to be safe in the water
The Southeast Ventura County YMCA brings essential water safety education to 3rd graders across the Simi Valley Unified School District and to every family in our community.
Our Safety Around Water program teaches them the foundational skills they need to stay safe in, on, and around water. The YMCA's national curriculum, tailored to Southern California's active water lifestyle, shapes our local program.
YMCA-certified instructors teach all swim classes.
