Completion of these certification courses does not guarantee employment with the Southeast Ventura County YMCA

This four-hour, instructor-led in-person course covers first aid, CPR, and AED training. The American Red Cross program aims to equip participants with the ability to identify and respond effectively to cardiac, respiratory, and first aid crises. This course provides the essential knowledge and techniques necessary to administer prompt care to individuals in distress, ensuring timely assistance and the ability to assess the need for advanced medical attention.

Classes: 1st Saturday of the month from 1pm to 5pm.
Locations: Yarrow Family YMCA, 31105 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Westlake Village, CA 93021.
Cost: $75, the cost of the course, which includes a CPR mask and a certificate issued upon successful completion.
Age Requirement: must be 16 years old
